The primary difference is that the slope-based glitching is a form of pure acrobatics, while this can be done more actively in combat. However, they function on the same concept. What is a DFA/Cartwheel Cancel?DFA/Cartwheel cancels are hops (or jumps) that borrow their source of power from either a DFA or a cartwheel that never activates.How does it work?Both cartwheels and the red dfa are incapable of being part of a swing chain. This means that whenever the game is prompted to chain a cartwheel or red DFA from an ordinary swing, it will attempt to do it, but it will cancel the animation because it is impossible. Instead, the player receives the boost they would typically get from the action. This means that attempting to chain a swing into A single key (W, A, or D) + Space + Attack (the keys that would normally trigger cartwheels or the red DFA) will result in a jump with significantly increased speed (the speed ordinarily afforded to the cartwheel or the DFA) and the ability to very quickly shift directions.
