This is another of FL's lessons that I thought would be highly valuable to add to our database, originally created and posted by LemonLime and once again re-posted here with LemonLime's permission. Link to their forum which has the original post: fallenlegendclan.proboards.com And thank you again for the contributions. Also, I love the swing compass illustration. Now that you have mastered two swing combos, it is just a matter of continuing that flow of motion into a three swing combo. One key thing to remember is that three swing combos can either be three different swings, or two of the same and then one different. the same principal applies from two swing combos, that they MUST be connecting on the swing compass. To help you understand this concept, I will write two combos that do work, and two that do not.
Work: W - W - WD AW - W - WD
Do not work: W - WD - WD A - W - D
For the first non-working combo, the swings all connect properly, but the two in a row are in the wrong place. If you want to swing two of the same swing in a row in a combo, they must be your first two.
DRILL Work your way around the swing compass until you have done every three swing combo, then reverse direction. You will do:
W W WD W WD D WD W WD WD WD D WD D SD
D D SD D SD D SD D SD SD SD D
AS AS A AS A AS A AS A A A AS
A A AW AW AW A AW A AW A AW A
If you mess up, continue on, but make sure to go back and do it at least once without messing up.I will give a short demonstration of some commonly used three swing combos.Good luck and keep practicing
