So this will be a tiny post, as this glitch isn't so hard.
Section 1: What's that?
Well, to explain as best I can, the cartwheel slope glitch is a glitch that is meant to be done on servers where the sv_fps is set higher. Higher sv_fps = higher you can ride up the slope. The premise is that you can use a cartwheel to, essentially, slide all the way up any sloped surface. In the picture below, you can see what it looks like when you are sliding up the slope using this glitch.
Section 2: Hooowww?
Simple, really. First, you have to do a cartwheel (A or D + space + attack) toward the slope you wish to climb however you do not make contact with the slope yet. You want very slight distance from the slope, otherwise you'll just flip off the wall. Then, you slide with either A or D while still in the cartwheel animation toward/into the slope, and attempt to do a second cartwheel in the same direction. This time though, you're going to hold all the cartwheel keys down and it should give you lift off up the slope until either the slope runs out, the sv_fps is too low to support going higher, or you release the cartwheel keys.
Section 3: Styles
For those who do not know, you cannot cartwheel with a staff. You can, however, cartwheel with a single saber and dual sabers. Dual sabers and Fast style are the most efficient at doing this trick. Strong style can barely use this trick, and medium is only slightly better than strong at performing it.
Section 4: Sv_fps Settings
Default sv_fps on any server is 20, though usually edited to 30 to reduce ghosting. I can tell you from experience that this glitch will still work on 20, just to a lesser degree, however the picture above was taken while the server was on sv_fps 20, so I know you can go a fair distance with it still. Things like the walls on Korriban/ffa2 though, you cannot go all the way up with that low of sv_fps. I can pretty much promise that at sv_fps 80 you will never have to worry about there being a slope you cant climb all the way up.
Comments & Questions are always welcome!
